Countershaft Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Press off LH bearing and 4th gear using Bearing Puller (Geo J22912-01). See Figure. Press off 3rd and 4th gear spacer with 2nd gear using bearing puller. Remove 2nd synchronizer ring and snap ring.
  2. Using bearing puller, press off low speed synchronizer sleeve and hub with 1st gear. Remove needle bearing. Press off RH bearing using bearing puller and metal rod.
