Intake Manifold: Installation

  1. Clean all mating surfaces. Using a new gasket, install intake manifold on cylinder head. Install wire harness clamps. Tighten manifold nuts and bolts.
  2. Install vacuum lines and coolant hoses. Connect emission control hoses. Connect electrical leads for cooling fan, thermal switch and coolant temperature gauge switch.
  3. Refill cooling system. Connect negative battery cable. Ensure throttle cable is properly adjusted.
