Gear Shift Lever Case: Disassembly

Remove case plate bolts and case plate. On 4WD models, remove select return spring bolts, springs and guide pins. See Figure . On all models, drive out gear shift arm pin, limit spring pin and gear shift lever pin. Push gear shift shaft inward and remove shift limit yoke. Remove gear shift shaft with shift limit spring, gear shift arm and gear shift limit bolt.
