Converter Housing, Oil Pump & Reverse Clutch Assembly

Install new oil pump flange gasket. Place transmission end play thrust washer, as previously determined, onto oil pump shaft and retain with petroleum jelly.
Install guide pin in case and lower converter housing and oil pump into case. Use Oil Pump Aligner (K-23082) to align converter housing with oil pump and case. Install and tighten converter housing attaching bolts.
Check for correct assembly by turning input shaft by hand. Shaft should rotate freely without binding.
