Reaction Sun Gear & Drum: Inspection
- Inspect reaction sun gear for chipped or nicked teeth and inspect sun gear for scoring. If necessary, replace complete assembly.
- Inspect reaction sun gear drum bushing for wear or damage. If bushing requires replacement, use a chisel and remove bushing at bushing joint from sun gear.
- Thoroughly clean drum. Install new bushing using a driver. Bushing should be installed flush with rear face of sun gear drum hub.
