Removal & Installation (Swift)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove horn pad by pulling upward. Remove steering wheel nut. Remove steering wheel upper cover and disconnect horn connectors.
  2. Make reference marks on steering wheel and steering shaft for installation. Use Puller (09944-36010) to remove steering wheel from steering shaft. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten steering wheel nut to 18-30 ft. lbs. (24-41 N.m).
