SERVICE INFORMATION

This bulletin contains instructions for the assembly and installation of the positive crankcase ventilation hose.

ASSEMBLING SET

Assemble the following component parts first (as illustrated in Fig 1 ), before installing them on the car.

Align arrow marks when installing Breather Hose No. 1 and 2
DO NOT assemble protectors (4, 5, and 6). See Fig 1 .

⁽¹⁾	Item 5 is placed over the PCV Valve.

⁽²⁾	Items 4 and 6 are installed after the hose assembly is installed on the vehicle.

BREATHER HOSE INSTALLATION

Make sure that engine is stopped and parking brake is fully applied.
By using pliers and screwdriver, remove breather hoses originally fitted to the car.
Place PCV valve protector as illustrated in Fig 2 .
Install breather hoses. See Fig 2 .
Fit clamps.

PROTECTOR INSTALLATION

Remove clear film from inside protectors (expose self-adhesive surface).
Place each protector (as illustrated in Fig 3 ) and fit them securely.
