ROUTING OF SPEEDOMETER CABLE

Model(s): All Suzuki Sidekick

Condition: Broken speedometer cable.

Cause: Improper routing of cable.

CAUTION: Improper routing of speedometer cable can cause premature cable breakage. To avoid damage be sure there is no shaft cable bend. For proper installation follow the procedures below.

SPEEDOMETER CABLE REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Follow the procedures outlined in Fig 1 through Fig 7 for correct speedometer cable removal.

SPEEDOMETER CABLE INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Perform the installation procedures in the reverse order of removal. For proper clamp location and cable routing, refer to Fig 8 and Fig 9 .
