Servo Assembly

  1. Install servo apply rod, spring and piston into case using a liberal amount of transmission fluid. Compress servo piston spring and install retaining ring while lightly tapping piston until piston is seated.
  2. To adjust servo, use a 3/16" hex head wrench on servo adjusting bolt and tighten bolt to 40 INCH lbs. (4.5 N.m.). Back off bolt EXACTLY 5 turns. Hold adjusting bolt stationary and tighten lock nut.
