Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection

Checking Air Temperature Sensor:

ATS Temperature Vs. Resistance Specification:

Immerse temperature sensing part of ATS in water (or ice) and measure resistance between sensor terminals while heating water gradually. If measured resistance doesn't show such characteristic as shown, replace air temperature sensor.
