1. Disconnect battery ground cable, the TPS coupler.
2. Using suitable ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminals of TPS as shown in Fig. 68. Readings should be as specified in Fig. 69.
3. If idle switch check is not satisfactory, refer to ``System Service'' for TPS adjustment. If other tests are not satisfactory, replace TPS.
