Fuel Rails (PFI): Installation
- Coat new "O" rings with thin coat of fuel. Install new grommets and "O" rings on injectors. See Fig 1
. Install injectors in fuel rail. Ensure injectors rotate smoothly in fuel rail. If not check for binding "O" ring.

- Install insulators in cylinder head. Install fuel rail and injectors. Install and tighten fuel rail mounting bolts to 14-20 ft. lbs. (18-28 N.m).
- To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. With ignition on and engine off, check for fuel leaks before starting engine.
