Electrical Load

Through a single wire from the diode box to the control unit, control unit monitors electrical load caused by running lights, headlights, rear defogger (if equipped), warning unit and the heater and defogger fan. Control unit will compensate for electrical load by increasing idle speed. Control unit compensates (increases) injector pulse width when electrical load causes battery voltage to drop.
