Power Steering (P/S) Pressure Switch

Unplug power steering switch at high pressure power steering hose. Start engine. Connect ohmmeter across switch terminals, NOT HARNESS. With steering wheel in the straight ahead position continuity should not exist between switch terminals. Turn steering wheel lock to lock. As steering pressure increases, continuity should exist. If continuity does not change, replace switch.
