Lock-Up Solenoid Feedback (A/T)

  1. With ignition on, backprobe control unit terminal "A6" with voltmeter to ground. Voltmeter should indicate zero volts. On flat road, drive vehicle with gear selector in "D" at speed greater than 42 MPH.
  2. Maintain speed for at least 4 seconds. Voltage at control unit terminal "A6" should indicate 10-14 volts when lock-up relay transmits an "engage" signal to solenoid. This is only a command signal from relay, not a physical lock-up condition.
