Air Temperature Sensor

Remove negative battery cable. Disconnect air temperature sensor wiring harness connector and remove sensor from intake manifold. With ohmmeter attached to temperature sensor terminals, position sensor threads in container of water with thermometer. Apply heat to container until specified temperature is obtained. Refer to the AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. Replace air temperature sensor if specified value is not obtained.
