Gear Position Switch (Park/Neutral Switch - A/T)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect connector at park/neutral switch on right side of transmission. Connect ohmmeter leads across Black/Yellow and Black/Red wire terminals of switch. With gear selector in Park or Neutral, continuity should exist. With gear selector in any other position, continuity should not exist.
- Connect ohmmeter leads across Yellow and Red wire terminals of switch. With gear selector in Reverse, continuity should exist. With gear selector in any other position, continuity should not exist.
