Sidekick & Swift

  1. Connect manifold gauge set to A/C service ports. Start engine and turn A/C on. Ensure system pressure is okay. Disconnect dual pressure switch electrical connector.
  2. Connect ohmmeter probes to switch terminals. With compressor operating and system at normal operating pressure, switch should have continuity. If continuity is not as specified, replace dual pressure switch.
NOTE: If pressure is 30 psi (2.1 kg/cm2 ) or below, low pressure switch should show no continuity. If pressure is 383 psi (2.1 kg/cm2 ) or more, high pressure switch should show no continuity.
