Sidekick & Swift
- Connect manifold gauge set to A/C service ports. Start engine and turn A/C on. Ensure system pressure is okay. Disconnect dual pressure switch electrical connector.
- Connect ohmmeter probes to switch terminals. With compressor operating and system at normal operating pressure, switch should have continuity. If continuity is not as specified, replace dual pressure switch.
NOTE:
If pressure is 30 psi (2.1 kg/cm2
) or below, low pressure switch should show no continuity. If pressure is 383 psi (2.1 kg/cm2
) or more, high pressure switch should show no continuity.
