Wide Open Throttle (Wot) Switch

Disconnect negative battery cable. Unplug WOT switch Yellow single-wire connector. Disconnect 4-wire Green connector. Connect ohmmeter across single-wire connector terminal and Black wire terminal of 4-wire Green connector. With throttle fully open, continuity should not exist. With .24-.28" (6.1-7.1 mm) clearance between throttle valve and carburetor bore, continuity should not exist. If switch requires adjustment, see ADJUSTMENTS article in this section.
