- The update kit allows the use of an early kit (p/n 95000-83080) on a 1988.5 vehicle. Some components of the update kit resemble the components of the original kit; however, all components of the update kit must be installed for proper air conditioner operation.
- The 1988.5 kit (p/n 95000-70A50) will not fit 1986 thru 1988 vehicles.
