Bowl Vent Solenoid Valve

  1. Disconnect canister hose from solenoid valve. Connect a separate length of hose. Ensure ignition is off. Blow through hose. Ensure air passes through solenoid valve. With ignition on (engine off), air should pass through valve.
  2. Start engine and let idle. Blow through hose. Ensure air does not pass through valve. If it does, replace bowl vent solenoid valve.
