Fuel Gauge Sending Unit
Using an ohmmeter, check sending unit resistance. With float in full (up) position, resistance should be 1-5 ohms. With float in empty (down) position, resistance should be 103-117 ohms. With float in 1/2 (middle) position, resistance should be 28.5-36.5 ohms. SeeFig 1 .
