Steering Gear: Removal
- Lift and support vehicle. Remove radiator lower cover. Remove tie rod end cotter pins and castle nuts. Using Puller 09913-65210), remove tie rod ends from steering knuckles.
- Remove steering damper-to center link attaching bolts. Remove cotter pins and castle nuts connecting center link to idler arm and pitman arm .
- Using Puller (09913-65210), remove center link from pitman arm and idler arm. Remove flexible joint clamp bolt from pinion shaft. Remove steering gear attaching bolts and nuts. Remove steering gear.
