Removal Procedure

Remove the drive belt. Refer to REMOVAL PROCEDURE .
Completely loosen the idler pulley bolt.
Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to REMOVAL PROCEDURE .
Disconnect the generator electrical connector (1).

Reposition the battery cable boot then disconnect the battery cable from the generator.
Remove the generator bolts and position generator aside.

Remove the drive belt idler pulley.
