Ignition Wire Resistance Test

Turn ignition off. Remove ignition module and pick-up coil assembly. Disconnect Red and White wires from ignition module. Measure resistance across wires. Resistance should be 130-190 ohms. If not, replace pick-up coil assembly. DO NOT reverse pick-up coil Red and White wires. Reversed connections may cause damage to pick-up coil and/or ignition module.
