Coolant Temperature Gauge: Notes

Disconnect Yellow/White wire connector at temperature sending unit. Connect a 12-volt 3.4-watt bulb to harness side of connector, between power terminal and ground. Turn ignition on. Make sure that test bulb flashes on and off and that temperature gauge needle deflects. If gauge needle does not deflect, replace temperature gauge. SeeFigure .
