Front Wheel Bearings: Installation

  1. Install bearing races in hub. Ensure bearing races are fully seated. Pack wheel bearings with grease. Install inner bearing. Install seal until seal is even with hub surface.
  2. Coat seal lip with grease. Fill hub cavity with .50 ozs. (15 g) of wheel bearing grease. Reverse removal procedures. Adjust wheel bearing. See FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS  under ADJUSTMENTS. Apply Sealing Compound 366E (99000-31090 ) to hub and drive axle flange prior to installation (if equipped).
