1. Connect ohmmeter to switch as shown in Fig. 8. Resistance between terminals at this time should read zero.
2. Open throttle valve fully, ohmmeter should read infinity. If not, replace wide open micro switch.
3. Open throttle valve gradually until ohmmeter reads infinity. Then using a suitable vernier caliper, measure clearance between throttle valve and carburetor bore as shown in Fig. 6.
4. Clearance should be 0.24-0.28 inch (6.0-7.2 mm). If clearance is not as specified, make adjustment by bending lever Fig. 9.
