Feedback Circuit: Microswitches

Turn ignition off. Disconnect coupler from ECM located behind right side of dashboard. Using an ohmmeter, test each sensor signal, except for oxygen sensor, using appropriate sensor terminal. See Figure . Compare resistance value to ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE FEEDBACK SENSOR  chart.

CAUTION: NEVER connect an ohmmeter to oxygen sensor circuit directly.

Thermal Switch 4 Zero When Coolant Temp is Less Than 116°F (46.5°C)

Idle Microswitch 15 Zero Engine Warm, Accelerator Not Depressed

High Altitude Compensator 14 0 Altitude is Above 4000 Ft. (1220 m)
