Neutral Position Switch: Inspection

- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Remove the intercooler. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (STI)>INTERCOOLER>REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the transmission harness and chassis harness.
- Measure the resistance between neutral position switch terminals. If not within the standard values, replace the neutral position switch.
Gear shift position Terminal No. Standard Neutral position 2 and 5 Less than 1 Ω Other positions 1 MΩ or more
