Operation Procedure A

  1. Read and store the ECM setting information.
    1. Connect the Subaru Select Monitor.
    2. Select [Read Control module setting information] on [Work Support] of Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>WORK SUPPORT .
    3. According to the display screen, save and close the file.
  2. Read the odometer value.
    NOTE: Perform the same operation procedures as those of reading and storing the ECM setting information.
    1. On [Select Function] screen, select [Work Support], and then select [Reading and Writing of the ECU Configuration Information and Odometer Value].
    2. Perform the operation according to the display screen.
  3. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new part.
  4. Write the odometer value.
    1. Perform the operation according to the display screen.
  5. Write the ECM setting information.
    NOTE: Perform the same operation procedures as those of reading and storing the ECM setting information.
    1. On [Select Function] screen, select [Work Support], and then select [Write Control module setting information].
    2. On the item list, select [Write ECU setting save data].
    3. Perform the operation according to the display screen.
    4. When [Write operation was completed.] is displayed, select the [OK] button.
  6. Check if the combination meter assembly operates normally.
