July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

EGR Control Valve: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the intercooler. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>Intercooler>REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the connector (A).
  4. Remove the bolts securing the EGR control valve to the EGR cooler.

  5. Loosen the bolts (A) holding the EGR cooler.
  6. Remove the nuts securing the EGR control valve.

  7. Remove the stud bolt using TORX® socket E8, and remove the EGR control valve.

  8. Remove the gasket.
