July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Rear Lock Button: Removal

NOTE: The rear lock button is integrated with the switch opener rear gate.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the trim panel assembly rear gate LWR. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Gate Trim>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the garnish assembly rear gate. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Gate Garnish>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the garnish assembly rear gate LWR. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Gate Garnish>DISASSEMBLY .
  5. Remove the switch opener rear gate. Refer to SECURITY AND LOCKS>Rear Gate Opener Button>REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the screws, and remove the switch request (lock).
