Universal Joint: Removal
- Set the steering wheel to the straight-ahead position.
- Adjust the tilt position of the steering column to the neutral position.
CAUTION:
Always place the tilt lever to the lock position after the steering column is adjusted.
- Prevent the steering wheel from turning using the seat belt.

- Remove the under cover front. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>REMOVAL
.
- Remove the universal joint assembly steering.
- Place alignment marks on the universal joint assembly steering.
NOTE:
Place alignment marks on the following positions.
- Between the column assembly steering and the universal joint assembly steering
- Between the steering gearbox assembly and the universal joint assembly steering (only when the guide is not installed)
- Remove the bolt, and remove the universal joint assembly steering.
CAUTION:
Do not remove the guide camera.
