Throttle Body: Installation

  1. Set a new gasket and install the throttle body to the intake manifold assembly.

    Tightening torque: 

    8 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.9 ft-lb)

  2. Connect the connector to the throttle position sensor.
  3. Connect the preheater hoses to the throttle body.
  4. Install the air intake boot. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the battery ground terminal. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  6. Fill engine coolant. Refer to COOLING (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
