SERVICE INFORMATION

FHI Engineering and our air conditioning manufacturing vendors (Denso, Valeo and Calsonic) do not recommend using refrigerant leak detection dyes. We encourage the use of a good leak detector for R-134a systems like the Kent-Moore J-39400A. Other quality models are available from various tool suppliers in a wide range of prices. In addition, damage to or replacement of A/C components resulting from the addition of dye is not a matter for Warranty.
