For procedures clearing memory using the general scan tool, refer to the general scan tool operation manual.

NOTE: Initial diagnosis of the electronic throttle control is performed after the memory is erased. Therefore, start the engine after 10 seconds or more have passed since turning the ignition switch to ON.
