  1. Remove the rear gate trim. < Ref. to REMOVAL , REMOVAL, Rear Gate Trim. >
  2. Disconnect the harness connectors and remove the rear gate garnish. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Gate Garnish. >
  3. Remove the mounting nuts and detach the backup light assembly.
