Steering Wheel: Removal
NOTE:
Roll connector is also known as Clockspring.
- Disconnect ground cable from battery.
- Set tires to straight-ahead position.
- Remove airbag module. Refer to
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
, Driver's Airbag Module.WARNING: Always refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS before performing airbag module service (if so equipped). .
- Remove steering wheel nut, and then draw out steering wheel from shaft using steering puller.
NOTE:
Make matching marks on steering wheel and steering column in advance.
