Emergency Disarming

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Subaru Impreza. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

If system will not disarm with the remote transmitter (i.e. the transmitter is lost or broken, or the transmitter battery is weak), then disarm the system as follows:

  1. Unlock door with key, then open it. The alarm will sound.
  2. Insert key into ignition switch and cycle it from LOCK to ON position three (3) times within five (5) seconds.
