Interrupt Relay

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove interrupt relay. Connect negative battery terminal to interrupt relay terminal No. 1. See Fig 1 . Connect positive battery terminal to relay terminal No. 4. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between relay terminals No. 2 and 6. If continuity exists, replace relay. If continuity does not exist, go to next step.
  2. Remove battery from relay. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between relay terminals No. 2 and 6. If continuity does not exist, replace relay. If continuity exists, relay is okay.
