Select Cable: Removal
- Prior to removal, set lever to "N" position.
- Remove under cover.
CAUTION:
When removing exhaust pipes, be careful each exhaust pipe does not drop out.
- Remove rear exhaust pipe and muffler.
- Remove heat shield cover.
- Remove snap pin from range select lever. See Fig 1
.
- Remove plate assembly from transmission case. See Fig 2
.
- Disconnect cable from select lever and then remove cable bracket. See Figure
.
- Remove select from plate assembly.
