DTC 11: Stoplight Switch
- Turn ignition and cruise control main switch on. Apply parking brake. Using Subaru Select Monitor (24082AA130), select CURRENT DATA DISPLAY & SAVE mode. Depress brake pedal. Observe scan tool. Stoplight switch display should turn from OFF to ON. If stoplight switch display does not turn from OFF to ON, go to next step.
- Release brake pedal. Disconnect harness connector from stoplight switch. Check resistance between stoplight switch terminals No. 1 and 4. See Figure . If resistance is less than one ohm, go to next step. If resistance is more than one ohm, replace stoplight switch.
- Depress brake pedal. Check resistance between stoplight switch terminals No. 1 and 4. If resistance is one megohm or more, go to next step. If resistance is less than one megohm, replace stoplight switch.
- Release brake pedal. Check resistance between stoplight switch terminals No. 2 and 3. If resistance is one megohm or more, go to next step. If resistance is less than one megohm, replace stoplight switch.
- Depress brake pedal. Check resistance between stoplight switch terminals No. 2 and 3. If resistance is less than one ohm, replace cruise control module. If resistance is more than one ohm, replace stoplight switch.
