Control Circuit
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect cruise control main switch harness connector. Turn cruise control main switch to ON position. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between cruise control main switch terminal No. 1 and chassis ground. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair cruise control main switch wiring harness as necessary. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Turn cruise control main switch to OFF position. Measure resistance between cruise control main switch terminal No. 6 and chassis ground. If resistance is less than 10 ohms, replace cruise control module. If resistance is more than 10 ohms, repair cruise control main switch wiring harness as necessary.
