Section 44 (Engine Cooling System (2.5L)): Radiator: Removal

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Lift-up the vehicle.
- Remove under cover.
- Drain engine coolant completely. See DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant.
- Disconnect connectors of radiator main fan (A) and sub fan (B) motor.
- Disconnect radiator outlet hose from thermostat cover.
- Disconnect ATF cooler hoses from radiator. (AT vehicles only)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove air intake duct.
- Disconnect over flow hose.
- Remove reservoir tank.
- Disconnect radiator inlet hose from engine.
- Remove radiator upper brackets.
- Detach power steering hose from the clip on the radiator.
- While slightly lifting radiator, slide it to left.
- Lift radiator up and away from vehicle.
