July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

DTC P1115: Engine Torque Control Cut Signal Circuit High Input (A/T)

  1. Start and warm engine. Turn ignition off. Disconnect transaxle control module (TCM) connector. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter connected to ground, backprobe ECM connector B134 (35-pin connector) terminal No. 31. See Figure. If voltage is less than 3 volts, leave voltmeter connected and go to next step. If voltage is 3 volts or more, repair short to power in wiring between ECM and TCM connectors. See appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS article. After repair, replace ECM.
  2. Turn ignition off. Observe voltage while wiggling wiring and ECM connector. If voltage change is more than 10 volts while wiggling wiring and connector, repair short to power in wiring between ECM and TCM connectors. After repair, replace ECM. If voltage does not change, replace ECM.
