DTC P0182: Fuel Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit Low Input
- Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool. Start engine. Observe fuel temperature sensor signal. If displayed value is more than 300°F (150°C), go to next step. If displayed value is less than 300°F (150°C), system has returned to normal. Check for poor connections or intermittent open in wiring. See appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS article.
- Turn ignition off. Remove fuel pump access cover located in right rear of trunk floor (sedan), or luggage compartment floor (wagon). Disconnect 6-pin fuel pump connector. Turn ignition on. Observe fuel temperature sensor signal. If value is less than -40°F (-40°C), replace fuel temperature sensor. If value is more than -40°F (-40°C), repair short in wiring between fuel pump and ECM connector.
