DTC P0617: Starter Relay Circuit High: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.
3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Starter Signal.
4. Check the value displayed on the Techstream when the ignition switch is turned to ON and when the engine is started.

   OK

   Condition	Starter Signal
   Ignition switch turned to ON	Close
   Engine started	Open

1. Inspect the park/neutral position switch assembly. Refer to INSPECTION .

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

4. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
5. Drive the vehicle at more than 24 km/h (15 mph) for more than 20 seconds.
6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Code.
7. Read the DTCs.
