Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the lower steering column paneling.

* Remove the 5 bolts (arrows).
* Remove the ignition lock panel (1).




2. Remove the lock cylinder.

* Ignition key to position I.
* Remove the lock cylinder with a suitable tool (screwdriver) (1).
* Remove the lock cylinder (arrow).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the lock cylinder.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the lower steering column paneling.

Tighten the 5 screws to 1 Nm (9 lb in).

3. Install the 2 panels.
