Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Torque Converter Cover Bolts

  1. Install the torque converter cover.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the torque converter cover bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the transaxle brace (4). Refer to Automatic Transmission Brace Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)  or Automatic Transmission Brace Replacement (All Wheel Drive)  or Automatic Transmission Brace Replacement (Front Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive) .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
